This section includes environmental and natural resources (ENR) commitments and groups geographically located in the Asian or Asia-Pacific region excluding ASEAN, which has a separate section.

The  Philippines  belongs  to  the  Asia–Pacific Economic Cooperation forum (APEC). Groups related to ENR  in APEC  are  the  Meeting  of  Ministers  Responsible for Forestry (MMRF), the Oceans and Fisheries Working Group  (OFWG),  the  Chemical  Dialogue  (CD),  the Experts Group on Illegal Logging and Associated Trade (EGILAT),  the  Mining  Task  Force  (MTF),  and  the  Asia–Pacific Network for Sustainable Forest Management and Rehabilitation  (APFNet).  Excerpts  of  ENR-related APEC statements are also presented.

Also covered are five organizations located in the Asian or Asia-Pacific region: an East and Southeast Asian group—the Coordinating Committee for Geoscience Programmes in East and Southeast Asia (CCOP); FAO's Asia Pacific Forestry Commission (APFC); Acid Deposition Monitoring Network in East Asia (EANET); Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries and Food Security (CTI-CFF); and Sulu-Sulawesi Marine Eco-region (SSME)
