MOU between Korea National Arboretum and Ecosystems Research Conservation

The mission of the Korea National Arboretum is to conserve and develop plant resources through comprehensive research and to promote the public’s understanding of the forests.  The Arboretum covers an area of 1,157 hectares and houses 15 specialized plant gardens, forest museum, forest zoo, a herbarium and seed bank.

Scope of Cooperation:
The governments of the Philippines and Korea will support cooperation in: (i) Joint seed collection expeditions, (ii) Exchange of research materials including but not limited to seeds and specimens, (iii) Exchange of publication and information, and (iv) Any other collaborative projects or programs of mutual interest in accordance with the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding.
